The World Economic Forum on the Middle East, on 20-22 May 2006, will focus on the challenges of development, shaping the regional agenda towards bold decisions that will provide hope and opportunity for young people. Job creation must be at the heart of the region’s future, and the business agenda and labour market issues will form the core of a stimulating and comprehensive programme. Other sub-themes will cover the rule of law, peace, security and international relations, and issues of youth, culture and identity.
Participants will be drawn from the highest level of government and business, as well as top experts and civil society representatives.
